A pharmaceutical company had indentified and validated a highly profitable market space and empowered an internal team to design a new organization to meet the need. Peak Development was called in to help bring the organization to life. In working through the transition from Design Team to Leadership Team, the organization needed to address not only concrete aspects like their funding model, physical space, and processes, but also less tangible aspects like a vision and platform that would paint a compelling picture of the organization’s future, and a culture that would set the tone for their success.

Peak Development worked with the leadership team to identify a compelling vision/platform and top priorities to tackle first, then built a roadmap and implementation plan for the organization’s launch. We embedded with the team throughout the launch, helping them build their new identity, culture, processes, and capabilities.
Peak Development also coached the leadership team throughout the launch and ensured active management of the organization’s messaging and story to multiple audiences, including employees, organizational colleagues, and external partners.
With a clear, strong identity and vision for the future, the team successfully launched the new division on time and on plan. While the division was sold in a larger spin-off deal less than one year after launch, members of the leadership team have carried the experience and knowledge gained throughout this process into their new roles.
